Where are you originally from? What is your major and expected graduation year?
I am a born and raised, Lubbock local.
My major is Media Strategies and will graduate in May 2020.
What do you plan on doing after graduation?
Currently, I am looking at different career paths both in Lubbock and outside, to pursue a position in the Advertising industry.
Why did you choose to intern at BBBS Lubbock?
I have been familiar with Big Brother Big Sister but I have not had the opportunity to look more into the organization. I met Bethany, the marketing coordinator, in our organization at Texas Tech. I reached out to her to see if she knew any way I can be involved or any internship opportunities; thankfully she needed my help!
What are you hoping to learn while interning at BBBS?
I am hoping to learn how to become more adaptable in an office setting. Also I am hoping to learn different strategies and tactics to get an audience more familiar with an organization with the help of media platforms.
What is your current favorite TV show?
My favorite shows are always going to be The Office or Parks and Recreation, but currently my favorite is a telenovela called Lo que la Vida me Robo, What Life Stole from me.
