For more than 50 years, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Lubbock has proudly served the Lubbock community and 19 surrounding counties. These communities include:

In partnership with parents, caregivers, and others, we focus on four key pillars:
Educational Success
Research shows that being matched with a Big Brother or Big Sister enhances a child's academic performance and attitude toward school.
Greater Aspirations
Youth in our program have higher aspirations and are more likely to avoid substances like alcohol and drugs.
Higher Confidence
One-on-one attention from a caring adult helps Littles develop self-confidence.
Healthier Relationships
Our mentorship program promotes the development of strong, healthy relationships among Littles.
